As an illustrator, I use style and medium to shape the story I’m building visually. As a former art teacher, I have experience in a variety of mediums and spent my early days as a full-time artist exploring charcoal, acrylics, oil and chalk pastels, and (the always loved and under appreciated) pencil and ink! These days I work digitally, and I am excited to be on the leading edge of illustrating with light. For the first time in human history, we cannot only capture light through color and observation but also use literal light to tell our stories. There are endless narratives to share and I am always experimenting with new techniques to refine my craft.
